Well 2022 has been and gone in a blink of an eye but what does that mean for weddings in 2023?
We saw hopefully the last of the postponements from Covid and 2023 is set to be the biggest yet for the wedding industry.
Turnaround Times
I found that couples are leaving it later to book their wedding suppliers and a quicker turn around for their weddings (the quickest turn around I had last year was just two months).
Will you be leaving it later in the year to get your suppliers booked?
Guest Lists
I have found couples are prioritising their wants more, especially when it comes to guest lists. Spending more on the guest experience than the quantity, which I’m totally down for. I think, personally one of the only positive things to come from the restrictions in 2020.
2023 Pantone Colour of the Year
Viva Magenta is the 2023 colour that will set the trends for weddings this year.
But… just because it is on trend doesn’t mean you have to do any of it!
Your colours and theme can be anything you want them to be. Never feel you have to be on trend to have a good wedding. A good, fun wedding that you and your guests enjoy are personal, unique to you as a couple.
I’m here to say you can still have your wedding the way you have wanted it since you started dreaming about it. You can still take out any traditions that make you feel uncomfortable or feel sexist or too cis het.
This is your day and you can do it however you want!
