When it comes to your wedding, you want it to be fun, not seen before and personal to you both. So how do you go about making your wedding personal?
Your outfits
You can wear whatever it is that makes you feel absolutely epic. Like this couple Iain and Kirsty in our recent shoot featured in The Quirky Wedding Magazine. They used their own outfits instead of going to a bridal shop and had their hair and makeup done by Kylie Green HMUA. Acessorised with hand painted boots by Inanna Bespoke Shoes and handmade jewellery by Bunny Loves Evie.
Your Venue
You could get married anywhere at anytime with a celebrant led wedding. Hiring a celebrant is the most personal way to get married, as they take your story as a couple and create the most beautiful ceremony. See more on celebrant led weddings here.
This couple own their own tattoo shop Tattooine in Leigh-on-Sea and it was the perfect venue for their vows. And instead of hand fasting they chose to tattoo their wedding ring fingers. Again so personal to them as a couple.
The Extras
Prioritise what is important to you as a couple for your wedding day. Some couples aren’t fussed about fancy sit down meals or favours, so if this is you, find an alternative or take it out altogether. There are no wedding police that will five you a warning for not having something deemed wedding related or mus have at your wedding day.
This couple didn’t have cake or flowers and instead chose to have Ladunne grazing cups and a couple of their fav drinks at the local Inn at Belfairs for photographs and finished off with a new back tattoo.
It’s your day so do it your way!
