You’ve sorted the venue, the music, the décor, the theme; you’ve invited your guest list, now it’s time order in the drink, but what drinks should you serve at your party?
Depending on what theme you are going for here is a list of drinks you could offer to your guests:
Fancy Gathering? Think serving cocktails at your party!
Comprising mixed spirits with fruit, syrup or cream. Including Mojitos, Margaritas, Cosmopolitans, Pina Colada, Martinis the list is endless. Don’t forget the Mocktails for your non-drinkers including drinks like Virgin Mary, Shirley Temple and Virgin Daiquiri.
Or make your own, have a company like www.stevethebarman.com come in and have a cocktail making class to add to your entertainment.
Formal Dinner Party? Time to crack open a bottle of wine!
Red, Rose and white wine are a must! Coffee liquors also add a nice touch for after dinner. Try and go for a dry wine before your dinner as it will prepare the stomach for food.
Themed Party with an open bar?
You will want to be able to offer a variety so all your guests are covered. Spirits including the most popular: Vodka, Gin, Rum, Tequilla, Whiskey; Larger and Real Ale; Mixers like Coke and Lemonade; Wine, Prosecco or Champagne. Don’t foget he ice and lots of it!!!
For the non-alcoholic beverages why not get in some J20s, pineapple juice, water; still and sparkling.
Or you could hire in a mobile bar, which includes the drinks, chiller units, their own glassware with staff to serve: https://hogandale.co.uk/
Pimms add a nice touch to any garden party (don’t forget your fresh fruit!) and gin is ever so popular and there are so many flavours to really get your juices flowing from rhubarb & strawberry to chilli & lime, from Mediterranean orange to cherry blossom & lychee.
You can get so creative with all of these party scenarios, but if it all seems too much to organise yourself there is always help. You could hire a party planner to organise it all for you, you could hire in cocktail servers, mobile bars and staff so nothing is out of reach for your upcoming party.
