Are there any Alternatives to a Wedding Ring?

Wedding Rings; the age old tradition from Greece and Rome. Where you exchange your wedding rings after your vows to show your love and commitment to each other. Worn on the fourth finger on your left hand as it was believed by the Egyptians, that this finger has a vein running directly to the heart. (Cute! Also not true). But did you know, it is not actually a legal requirement, when you get married? It’s juts a tradition. So what if you don’t like the idea of wedding ring tradition or like wearing jewellery. Are there any alternatives to a wedding ring?… YES!

Being a badass, alternative couple, matching tattoos is definitely top of the list! You can have anything, a wedding ring tattooed on, a symbol that represents you both or your initials and it doesn’t even have to be on the fourth finger it could be anywhere, as big or small as you’d like!

Instead of jewellery you could gift each other something more personal that you know the other would like. Something they have always wanted, that they can use or treasure for the rest of your married lives together.
