Unconventional weddings by Ella Bella Wedding and Events are unique and quirky. Let’s say no to tradition and make the sole focus point you and your partner.
Have you always wanted to get married in a clearing, overflowing with bluebells in woodland? With a local celebrant, this can be made possible.
If you are not keen on being the centre of attention, take out the first dance. Likewise, neither of you are fans of wedding cake, have a cake made of cheese instead.
There are many unconventional suppliers out there ready to work with us, having your best interest at heart. Most importantly there are so many different possibilities for you both, let me make it easy for you, by working alongside you both.
I can offer you three bespoke packages, which are designed to make your day run smoothly.
Here we get to sit down over a cuppa for an hour at either your home or local venue. We discuss all of your dreams and goals for the wedding. Then I will help guide you on the steps taken to start your wedding planning journey. What needs to be done first, who to get hired first and some of the best suppliers for you.
Also we will be going through your budget and how to budget for the day. What your priorities are and answering any questions you may have about the planning process.
Finally I will give you a timeline for your planning journey. At any time throughout your planning, I can be hired for more hours.
This will be charged at £500 for an hour. (More hours can be added throughout)
This starts with a complimentary consultation for us to get to know each other, make sure we click and to learn more about your vision for your special day.
I will then tailor a bespoke planning service for all your requirements, that we discussed at the initial meeting. Listing our agreed services, timeline and budget.
Once hired I will manage everything agreed in the proposal, offering you my expert advice, so you can both sit back and enjoy the planning process.
Please note I am proud to be a UKAWP member. Which means I have been fully vetted and I do not take any commission from venues or suppliers.
I only take on a limited amount of full planning weddings each year to ensure you get the best service.
This will be charged at 12% of your budget. (Minimum fee of £3,500 applies)
This service consists of two meetings, around 3 months prior to the big day.
The first meeting we will go through everything you have planned for your wedding day and I can guide you on anything vital missed throughout the planning process. We will then agree on all my services for you on the day.
The second meeting will be to organise your schedule and timeline throughout the day.
I will be the main contact for your suppliers a week leading up to the wedding. Therefore leaving you and your partner to enjoy the lead up to your special day.
I will be there on the day to make sure there are no problems and to make sure all runs on time, giving you and your partner a relaxed wedding day.
This will be charged at £1,200. (For 10 hours, more hours can be added)
How long does it take to plan a wedding? On average it takes couples 250 hours to plan their own wedding. A wedding planner can take on average 150 hours.
What exactly does a wedding planner do? As much or as little of the planning as you want them to. Wedding planners offer a range of services within their packages. From designing the theme/style of the day, organising all your suppliers to sourcing your ideal venue and helping you with the table plan. From your wedding attire and music to keeping on top of your budget and RSVPs. We spend hours behind a computer screen researching all the possibilities of your vision for your day and offer you expert advice all the way through the planning process. We work alongside you with the timeline for the big day and we make sure everything runs smoothly on the day from set up to take down. We save you your precious time and money in the long run.
How much does a wedding planner cost? Most wedding planners charge between 10%-15% of your budget with a minimum fee.
Do you take commission or kick-backs? No ,as a proud UKAWP member we say no to commission. I would rather get you a discount instead.
What happens after our first phone call? In our phone call I will have found out some information about you and your partner, including the date you are going to get married and your budget. We then have a consultation to get to know each other better, find out more about your vision for your day and answer any questions you have. I then go away and put together a proposal for you. When you are happy to go ahead the contract is signed and deposit is paid. Once hired I get to work straight away.
