If you are not keen on being the centre of attention, take out the first dance. Likewise, neither of you are fans of wedding cake, have a cake made of cheese instead.
We need to click and I need to be your person, someone who gets you both. That will listen and understand your vision and will work harmoniously with you and you partner.
I will be your cheerleader, supporting you throughout and I will always be excited to hear your ideas for the day.
I can provide you with a choice of high quality suppliers, saving you time from having to do the research and for peace of mind knowing they are well respected and trustworthy .
Most importantly I handle all the wedmin, so you are free from dealing with any spreadsheets, deposits and numbers.

I offer three bespoke packages, which are all designed to make your day run smoothly.
Here we get to sit down over a cuppa for an hour at either your home or local venue. We discuss all of your dreams and goals for the wedding. Then I will help guide you on the steps needed to start your wedding planning journey. What needs to be done first, who to get hired first and some of the best suppliers for you. Therefore making you confident in planning your own wedding.
Also we will be going through your budget and how to budget for the day. Leaving you with all the knowledge you need to keep you within your budget. We will go through your priorities and I will answer any questions you may have about the planning process, squashing any overwhelm you may of had at the start.
Finally I will give you a timeline for your planning journey, giving you clear advice for when things should be achieved by, giving you peace of mind.
At any time throughout your planning, I can be hired for more hours, giving you my expertise, more guidance and answering any other questions you have.
This will be charged at £500 for an hour. (More hours can be added throughout)
This starts with a complimentary consultation for us to get to know each other, to make sure we click and to learn more about your vision for your special day. Leaving you confident that I am the wedding planner for you.
I will then tailor a bespoke planning service for all your requirements, that we discussed at our initial meeting. Listing our agreed services, timeline and budget. Giving you the time to concentrate on work and your busy lifestyle.
Once hired I will manage everything agreed in the proposal, offering you my expert advice, so you can both sit back and enjoy the planning process.
You will have unlimited access to me throughout your planning process.
Please note I am proud to be a UKAWP member. Which means I have been fully vetted and I do not take any commission from venues or suppliers, I would rather get you a discount instead.
I only take on a limited amount of full planning weddings each year to ensure you get the best service from me.
This will be charged at 12% of your budget. (Minimum fee of £3,500 applies)
This service consists of two meetings, around 1 month prior to the big day.
The first meeting we will go through everything you have planned for your wedding day and I can guide you on anything vital missed throughout the planning process., so that you are confident everything is right for your day.
We will then agree on all my services for you on the day, so you can sit back and know everything is taken care of.
The second meeting will be to organise your schedule and timeline throughout the day, saving you time and knowing an often overlooked part of the planning process has been sorted for you.
I will be the main contact for your suppliers a week leading up to the wedding. Therefore leaving you and your partner to enjoy the lead up to your special day.
I will be there on the day to make sure there are no problems and to make sure all flows smoothly, giving you and your partner a relaxed wedding day.
This will be charged at £1,200. (For 10 hours on the day, more hours can be added)
How long does it take to plan a wedding? On average it takes couples 250 hours to plan their own wedding (more for a marquee). A wedding planner can take on average 150 hours.
What exactly does a wedding planner do? As much or as little of the planning as you want them to. Wedding planners offer a range of services within their packages. From designing the theme/style of the day, organising all your suppliers to sourcing your ideal venue and helping you with the table plan. From your wedding attire and music to keeping on top of your budget and RSVPs. We spend hours behind a computer screen researching all the possibilities of your vision for your day and offer you expert advice all the way through the planning process. We work alongside you with the timeline for the big day and we make sure everything runs smoothly on the day from set up to take down. We save you your precious time and money in the long run. How much does a wedding planner cost? Most wedding planners charge between 10%-15% of your budget with a minimum fee. Check out my blog on How much does a wedding planner cost?
When do I need to pay? I require a 40% non-refundable retainer on the full planning package. The Second payment of 40% is due no later than 90 days before the event. The last payment of 20% is due 30 days before the event.
Do you take commission or kick-backs? No ,as a proud UKAWP member we say no to commission.
What happens after our first phone call? In our phone call I will have found out some information about you and your partner, including the date you are going to get married and your budget. We then have a consultation to get to know each other better, find out more about your vision for your day and answer any questions you have. I then go away and put together a proposal for you. When you are happy to go ahead the contract is signed and deposit is paid. Once hired I get to work straight away
